24/7 Health Library Hotline

The Health Information Service provides you with access to a comprehensive library of health information, available to you over the phone or through our website. The library puts information on over 2,100 health-related topics at your fingertips. Medical authorities regularly review the topics to make sure you are receiving the most current information available.

When you have a specific health question, you can always call a Registered Nurse (see the 24/7 Nurse Network). When you just need basic health information, however, you can get it either by phone or by computer.

How to Use This Service:

1) Simply go online and visit the Health Library website (see Members' Guide). The text version of all topics is available there, along with a directory to make it easy to find what you need.

2) If you would prefer to access the topics by phone, call the toll-free number indicated on your membership card.  Provide the Registered Nurse with your name, group number, and membership number. The nurse can look up a topic number for you and connect you to the audio recording of that topic. The nurse can then answer any follow-up questions that you have.

The service is easy to use, and as a member is available to you 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, free of charge.
